Decatting OE 182 exhaust?

Just wondering if anybody runs a decat on the OE. If so, how is the noise compared to standard? Assuming better flow would also deem a marginal gain?

Its raspy.

But cheap and i only ran the backboxes.

Indeed Tom thinking of just going down that route too. What centre you use then?

Nothing.

Just bought 2m of mild steel 60mm pipe, cut off the cat flange and welded it in.
Bent it slightly to line up with the backbox clamp.

Cheap BUT Mild Steel,

I Originally Just Decated mine with a K+N IK and the Noise was Lush, Subtle Rasp and my mate Filmed my car and it sounded Awesome!!

I went for a GDI Decat, Excellent piece of Kit!!!!!!!!

Mild steel is fine, its been on there a year and not even started to rust.
