Dent

Hi all,

Theres quite a large, but only barely visible dent on the left rear door on my clio. I was wondering if would be possible to take the inside of the door off and push the metal back out to its original shape?? Ive heard that on some cars you can actually get to the metal from the inside as it is covered in plastic e.g. my bros escort.

Thanks

Dazz

ok thanks, i did get a quote from the body shop for the dent, plus a few scratches and another small dent on the front bumper and they wanted £350!!! stuff that!

Any advice on taking the interior off? is it simply just a case of taking all the visible screws off? or do i need to be careful with all the central locking and stuff?

Thanks

im sure there r companies that ease the metal out without braking the paint so i guess u cud do it urself jus b carefull not 2 do 2 much at a time or 2 quickly

jus take out the handle, bucket and grab handle then lift up and pull away, its covered in some sh*tty glue so becareful when puttin it down!

ok il give it a go tuesday (working all day tomo - bank hols = double time :)

BTW, do you think a toilet plunger (or something similar) could suck a little dent out of a front wing?
