ANYBODY ANY IDEAS ON THIS ONE ITS READING 45-55 DEGREES WHEN IT SHOULD BE AROUND 10-20 THIS TIME OF YEAR ON A GOOD DAY.

Dont know im afraid cos mine has never worked, maybe dodgy sensor in your case?

yeah, probably the sensor. Basically its just a resistor which varies is resistance through heat. If it was damaged at all, it could cause some weird temperature readings.

The external temperature sensor is underneath the passenger wing mirror. The one on my 172 went just after I got the car, so Renault replaced it for me.

Dont feel alone on this one Billy - mine reads between 35-40 all the time. Dont u just love Renault

yea love em just these little niggling bits, mind 40 is still lower than mine must be about 6-7 tonight.
