T The Fonze Car Clio 182 Trophy Apr 9, 2014 #1 I have a whine coming from the front which is most apparant on the left hand side when the car is driven spiritedly around right hand corners. How would I diagnose if it is a wheel bearing or a gearbox out job to get the diff bearings done? Thanks Sam

T The Fonze Car Clio 182 Trophy Apr 9, 2014 #3 Thanks Dan, the only thing is I dont get a humming noise (maybe a faint whine) any other time only with hard cornering. Seems to have got louder over time since I changed the gearbox oil as well.

ben lee Car mk2ph1 rsi 106rallye Apr 10, 2014 #5 sounds like your nearside front bearing. dont by cheap replacements use SKF or better.
