Differences between the 172 and 182...

Not wishing to attract abuse, but other than the 10hp what are the main differences between the Clio 172 and 182?

Not even 10bhp difference i think its mainly exhaust and manifold pluss a map if yiu get a 172 put a 182 manifold on it

The manifold is the difference and depending on spec seats suspension lights n other little bits nothing major

Different exhaust manifold
No Spare wheel due to exhaust taking up more room (twin pipe backbox)
182 Has cruise control (some 172's did have it also but not many!)

Thats about it tbh... not alot of difference

Oh right. Quite fancy one of either in a few years time, when it's time to move on from my 1.6, and when my insurance will let me!

I dont think all of the 53 plate's came with CC, my mate has one of that age and his doesnt have it.... perhaps it was an option

Cool I got it wrong, all the late 172's I'd seen had cruise, I just thought it was standard tbh.

Was probably an optional extra rather than standard

it was standard (never was optional) on the late models, the 04's and 53's that do and don't have it were probably pre reg'd or late registered
