Different rear springs

Do either of these rear springs look correct for the Cup (ones got many more coils than the other)? I'm guessing that since the former owner put Unipart brake pads in, he probably just put random coil springs in too.

Is there any paint code marking them Alex.

The top one looks like a std 172 spring and the lower one a cup spring. Here are the std front and rear next to cup ones. The cup springs lower the back end about 30mm compared to std 172 springs.

That's a great shout from above.. the paint markings match (missed your post Tony). So I've replaced the cup spring with a non-cup spring. Brilliant. Just as well I've got an uprated set on the way
