just bought eibach pro kit springs which lower 30mm and put them on my 172 cup and it does not look any different, do i need to wear them in or are they rubbish springs?

This is a set of Prolines on my 182 FF with cup packs. They are lower than on the Cup springs, just more subtle than Sportlines, all a matter of taste really. Good ride, better handling, admittedly not much lower but that's not why I changed, recommended for a good compromise.

It may look higher then it is due to the front tires been lower profile compared to the standard profile. Thats all the tire shop had in stock, wasn;t to bothered as these are only my winter wheels

Clio RS 172 /Trafic
having lowered suspension is fine if all you plan to do is drive on smooth tarmac, but with the amount of speed humps etc around its not exactly practical. I had a Cinquecento abarth that had been lowered and it was a nightmare on back roads or anything bumpy. it kept bottoming out. Fine on fast A roads and motorways. I'd think twice about lowering again if you want a car thats going to be practical and not just for track and show use.

I've changed the stock springs with Weitecs (35mm lower - this is official spec)...the picture shows the difference.
Now I want to lower a bit the rear and maybe someone tell me where I can find height adjusters to compress a litlle bit the rear springs.

the eibach pro-kits are designed to optimise handling with std rod ends and without moving pick up points. lowering more on macpherson strut front end worsens handling. i'd love to see one of those 100mm drop car's try and keep up with a std twingo on a twisty bumpy b road...

VRS, 200CUP, S1
any one have problems with man holes/british b-roads and the tyre receding up into the arch and rubbing?? its not the arch it rubs its the front part of the chassis where the bumper meets the wing i think :S.
i have KTR /GAZ coilovers and i think i am just seting them up wrongly?!?
Would love any help/advise. only happens when there are large bumps and am turning left or on the section of M20 just before junction 8 where there is the worlds most god awful dip/bump!!
