digital display 182 cup

may sound a stupid question but im just getting used to all the little gadgets in a 182 cup

if got the hang of the cruise control and speed limiter now.. i think

only think is when ive used them and finished with them i cant get the digital display back to state the current mileage without turning the car on/off again

maybe im just impatient but i waited about 5 mins and it still read "MPH...?"

and yes i did depress the button thats selects either limiter or cruise control

is it just an annoying french fault or am i stupid

I think they all do it, all you have to do is press the button on the end of the wiper stalk to cycle through the trip computer. Should only have to press it once to get to the mileage

i though it might be that ....

my button in there doesnt work though,i can never change it from overall mileage

what other options should that give? im not missing out on much if its broken then?
other than what mpg im getting and trip distance etc

or is that about it?

im pressing the thing that sticks out the clocks thats obviously just a mileage reset button, i was twisting it and alsorts trying to make it alter the display

too many fuckin buttons im used to williams, swift gti's and pulsars

Glad you found the right one!!

I had a swift gti as my first car, was a J-reg mk2. Absolutely loved it, but I did spend an aweful lot of time respraying panels and fiddling with the engine to get it looking nice.
People just couldn't understand it when a 1300 twin cam would out accelerate them revving round to just over 8k :rasp:

yeah swifts are wicked ive just put mine up for sale on pistonheads

i used to have one that revv'd to 8850rpm and did 75mph in second gear on clocks :O

bullet proof engines!

they are quick but when you got a 360bhp GTIR pulsar in garage they can feel slow at times

its the one flan was selling on here

ive only had it a few days so still getting used to it

im actually pleasently suprised at how nippy they are, i have always had quite a negative attitude towards clio's after owning a few williams and valvers but it was either one of these or a civic type r for a run around

couldnt justify spending 9k on a 04 civic type r when you can get one of these for just over 5k

i used to go back in the day! im 25 now though so i'd feel a little silly


drives fine and it was only light damage to panels


my old 106 gti was a cat D and that was the best car ive ever owned

i miss that car...

yeah been plenty of times mate! it closed! he just has weird biker nights now and full of chav!! was good in its day (im 27 lol)
