Last week I checked out the air filter to find it was filthy..
Since then I noticed a slight pitch in engine note and a flat spot while toeing it.
To see if my fiddlerling had upset anything I remembered a simple trick a tuners showed me to test induction weakage.
Just spary WD40 around certain points of the intuction area and see if the engine suddenly revs up due to taking in more fuel ( so to speak) this helped me pin point the fact I never tightened the jubilee clips up that conects the flexi tube to the air box up enough.. doh..
Not sure if this was a trick known by all, but its logic is pretty simple.. and it works.
small print .. dont blow your car or eyebrows up/off.
