agree fully. Bobby J and Sash did Bedford on Pagid disks and pads that I fittted the night before and they never once saw fade. they're better than you'll ever need for the road and the whole setup is less than a set of uprated pads.

Your'e right OEM stuff is perfectly fine but it never hurts to have better if you want/can afford the premium. It's just the same as spending that bit extra for decent tyres over ditch finders which are still perfectly legal so must also be perfectly fine for most situations... If the upgrade cost £500+ to do then I'd agree with you but around £170 more isn't much really in the grand scheme of things.

The kid thing was just one example of where they could make a difference...

Just got Front Brembo HC Discs with Brembo OEM front and rear pads, genuine rear discs on the rear. All will be fitted on Saturday and let you know how I get on. Oh and ATE Super Blue brake fluid. Should be more than adequate for road use and the occasional track use.
