disconnecting battery

When i did this on my daughters little 1 point 2 clio it didnt run properly and we had to reset the ecu or something, i forget now, if i disconnect the battery on my phase 1 172 any such issues, thanks.

Only issue is you will need the radio code (if standard HU is fitted)

You'll have trouble starting it with no battery connected.

However, I would not expect any problems when re-connecting it apart from the afore mentioned radio code. Also, prepare to go deaf from the alarm siren, have your finger on the keyfob button !!

Cat 1 = ~120dB. OUCH.

Disconnect within 30 seconds of turning the ignition off to prevent alarm going off iirc.
Shouldn't have any issues other than Radio code. Had several Clio's and unplugged batteries loads of times with no problems.
