Disk brake conversion on my 182 REP

im picking up a rear axle from a sport on friday to put on my 182 rep im planning on just swappin the brakes tho! is it just a straight swap without the need to take the whole axle of? and how does the handbrake work on the disks as i have drums!? will i need to buy some parts or will it swap straight over?

its not worth it tbh, few bits need changin irrc hence why i havnt changed mine

It won't work with the ABS, different number of teeth on the drum abs rings vs the disc rings. And the whole axle needs swapping.

Short answer, sell the free one on its not worth the hassle.

number of teeth should be the same... the sensors will need to be ones from a disk axle tho. swap the axle over should be as simple as that

Check the ring teeth count drums vs disk but I think you'll find they are different.

you'll need 172 handbrake cables

swap the entire axle though, and it does depend on which abs rings you have on your 1.2 axle, they will need swapping over if they are the wrong ones on the 172 (99% chance they will be)

Get some black stickers on the front of that bumper.

Looks like it's has a frontender.
