right then renault just informed me my pads are 70% worn and my disks are worn (very good description lol) how much life is there left in the pads aprox ?? and how much for disks and pads id asume front only renault wanted 194 to do it !!!!

Well think about it, say you do 10k a year, you have 3k before youre metal on metal. Id get them changed now..i think its gsfcarparts.co.uk who do replacements for cheaper. Otherwise go for an upgrade..

Sorry, dunno why i said a year..so that would mean you have 9k to go? But the less pad/disc the worse your braking will be. Have a feel of your discs and make sure a groove isnt forming on them.

70% worn=about 3000 miles left depending on how you drive. where you from i could beat that renault price.

I have got uprated front brakes on mine, I still have the original discs and pads, they have plenty of life left in them only done 7000 miles.

Make me an offer and you can have them.

Renault said mine were 70% worn on its 24k service and when i changed them for ebc discs and pads they were only around 50% worn according to the guy who changed them and would have been ok for ages longer

well i was told the same by renault that the front was 70% worn and i took them off to check and the pads aint evin 50% worn
