disks to hub bolts help!

  20VT Clio & 9-5 HOT

im in the process of changing my front disks and pads, iv got to the point where i need to take the 2 star screws out of the disk that attatch it to the hub!

My problem is the 2 bolts are feked! they are virtually round, iv not even attempted to get them out yet!

Any ideas what i can do? as im stuck at the moment.

Cheers

1. Make sure u got a perfect fittin torx bit!

2. Bit of WD40 or grease would help

3. If it starts even slightly slippin take it to a garage or looks like ur gonna av a lot of drillin to do

Booo, well one of em is not too bad the torx bit fits but its v tight, the other one is just a hole, theres fuk all to put the torx bit in!

nice strong drill bit then!

try takin the decent one out and then try the other and give the disc a wiggle might help it out

impact driver is usually the only way to get them out, but failing that just drill the head off it. YOu dont really need to replace them as wheel bolts hold it all together anyway, these wee countersunk bolts dont do anything other than locating disc on fitting, make piss all difference once assembled, so just horse on with good drill bit if its stuck

if you cant get them out then just drill the heads off.their only there to hold the disc whilst the wheels unbolted so dont serve any major purpose.make sure your disc fits flush to the hub when you refit it and it doesnt catch on the remainder of the bolts causing it not to sit right.
