Do all gear levers on the mk2 ph2 clios ratter when in gear?

Might be a worn gearleaver housing/bushes. Is it sloppy too? Yanoo on here does a brilliant kit to sort it out, have a search

Dogbone mount, replace with polybushed 172 part, should sort it out

The gear knob doesn't usually rattle but the dogbone wears making the move about like it's doing the salsa.

mine doesnt rattle and feels very solid
yanoo kit + powerflex dogbone mount

I replaced the dogbone mount on mine and it still has excessive movement. When under the car you can twang the gear linkage around like a guitar string. Horrible.

man thats absolutely normal, the problem is in the OEM the ball housing
Which you should replace with this one....

should it have excess movement left right up down in gear whilst accelerating too??? sure that can't be normal.
