Do Clio III steering wheels fit the Clio II?

Does anyone know if this is possible? It might be a solution to the melting wheel problem.

not sure really, i wouldnt have thought so, as there would be an issue with cruise buttons and rev limiter buttons

Would be a probs for people without them, don't 197 wheels melt to anyway?

The Cup steering wheels don't have any buttons, so as long as the splines are the same dimensions I should think that they would fit. But, what about the air-bag, would that be a problem?

I was wondering about the airbag.

The other alternative might be the wheel from the basic models of the Clio II, which wasn't a leather effect finish. I wonder if they melt?

^Yup they do. If you want a wheel that wont melt, buy an aftermarket one.

I had a mk3 dynamique s with the cruise buttons on it and that never melted in 3 years!

the 197 wheel is a lot thicker too, feels better for it mind!
