do i need bumper supports?

as some of you know i've got myself a 172 front bumper and i've just got lots of bits for it - both grilles - fog lamp surrounds - washer jets etc

i was just wondering do i need the bumper supports? or will it be enough to hold it by the grill and the arches? (same as my bodykit bumper)

i asked for price at vardies but it wouldnt bring a price up its only a whole bumper option

Bumper supports??

Its held by the grill at the top
It locates onto the front of the car so its not just dangling.

And is also bolted on the wing each side.
( obviously itl be out of place if ur using standard wings but if ur using 172 wings will go on no problemo apart from arch liners.)
