Do I need the fuel rail guard?

As above? The metal bit that bolts onto the front of the engine... Had an injector replaced and the guy at the garage I took it to said it wasn't important so I chose not to bolt it back on, it is important as no matter how many times I tighten the bolts, they always seem to come loose...
 
In a front end crash it will help prevent damage to your fuel rail, it's up tp you if you wanna take that chance.

Physically running without it on won't cause any other issues
 
Could get messy if you run in the back of someone hard. Plus I always thought my engine bay looked a bit strange without it
