Do I need this? [ISO Multifit Adaptor]

I'm planning on replacing the standard HU witha Pioneer DEH-P55BT, will it connect straight to the existing wires or will I need an adaptor like the one below?

I would have thought it will be a straight fit, without any extra wiring required.

My Alpine went straight in.

I don't think you will need it. I just bought a Sony and it comes with the plug like the one in your link.

No adaptor required it will plug straight onto the Pioneer units connector, but you will need to swap the Red and Yellow (ign & Bat) wires over as Renault use a different protocol from everyone else.

If you don't, the set wont hold its memories and it will not switch on/off with the ignition key.
