I don't really, know I've got maybe 40 - 50 pictures.How much storage do you need?
I've got a load of 250gb SATA SSD drives, happy to send you one.
All you'd need is a cheap enclosure from Amazon and to wipe my home movies from it and you'd be good to go.
If you want an external drive for long term storage then traditional hard drives are better. Solid state drives can become corrupted if they're unplugged for too long, but a spinning disc will keep the data forever. If it's something you'll be plugging in every month or two to upload or view stuff then solid state is fine, but if you want to just throw it in a drawer and forget about it then go with an HDDI've got a collection of car pics on my work PC I want to keep. Are external plug in hard drives still a thing?
Can anyone recommend one? I don't want to spend loads, maybe £40-50 ?
I just want to plug it in, put them on it etc.
I don't have a One Drive etc.
Thanks

It's cool, thanks for the offerI'll just go and buy one.
Thanks, that's great info! I'll probably be putting them on it for a later date. I've collected quite a few pics that I like over the years so I don't want the device they're on to get corrupted / stop working. If you want an external drive for long term storage then traditional hard drives are better.
