Do you need to weld Powerflex wishbone kit - the new style?

Read a few times that people still recommend it even with the new style. But there is no mention of a weld being needed on the fitting instructions. Maybe the washers prevent any damage?

So do you need to? If so why?

If welded wouldn't it make it impossible to get back off/replace at a later date if needed?

Cheers

Im having trouble with the new style bushes they dont seem to fit in the slot with the washers fitted either side of the bush . Few other people have had this problem mine wer very very tight to get the collars in they had to be pressed in

Yes, the sleeve to the wishbone - old style anyway.

Mine (old style) said in the instructions that welding was recommended. I didn't initially but the sleeve popped out almost straight away, before I'd even done any hard driving.

I am going to be fitting some old style ones shortly, anyone got a pic of the sleve welded into place. I know its likely to be straight forward just wouldnt mind a picture for reference!
