Does 182 Cobra alarm auto arm?

I might be getting the wrong end of the stick cos the instructions are vague but is the 182 Cobra alarm supposed to arm and the doors lock by themselves 60 seconds after the drivers door is shut. Mine does not do this, has it been disabled or is there a fault or is it not supposed to do it at all?

it does it if you unlock it then dont put the key in the ignition for 60 seconds, but it doesnt lock itself 60 seconds after you get out.

all cat 1 should auto re-arm if you unlock the doors but do not open them or trigger any sensor.
If you want the alarm to arm itself all the time, I.E after you have driven the car you need to programme a passive re-arm and lock.
This will enable you to just walk away from the car and it will lock and arm itself

Thanks, is that something that can be done with the standard alarm as is or do

Can't be done with the standard alarm, its just piggybacked into the standard rcl so it can't send a signal to lock the doors after a set time. The only reason it relocks the doors after 40 seconds if you don't open then is because thats a standard clio feature and locking the doors just arms the alarm again.
