Thou shall recieve this "5k Kick" in any CS it is believed...

Any Clio Sport? I don't think so.

Maybe in every Renault Sport Clio.

the 5k kick in a 172/182 is nowt compared to the kick from a s2 Exige at 6k rpm. it physically forces you into your seat and deafens you with the right exhaust . its the same feeling but with a lot more force

My 172 has a very noticeable increase in power at 5k. Always makes me smile.

Same here, very noticable.


Seems to me like each owner experiences a different level of "kick" at 5k rpm in their clios.

I wouldn't describe it as a 'kick' as such, but there is definitely a difference above 5k revs. The best way to feel it isn't just by accelerating longer before changing up from 3rd to 4th, say, but to just take on some - roads in 3rd, accelerating and decelerating.... then you definitely notice a punchier acceleration.
