Does a rs tuner actually give more bhp

Got a chance to buy 1 off a mate for a good price but do they actually up bhp. I've done a search and couldn't find the answer. I don't want to lose the 5k kick either so would like info on the maps that don't take that away from people who have them. Cheers guys.

Not much....probably a few. But that's not what it's for. Its about improving the efficiency throughout the rev range.

I did mine, one of the best mods I've done.

Also, the standard maps dont loose the 5k kick

So it's worth it then. There just seems to alot of people having trouble with them looking through old threads, don't want summit that's gonna be a ball ache.

Mine was incredibly simple.

Also, I borrowed a friends unit, that way you only have to buy the unlock code. You might want to do that if you can.

Yes it does give a gain - I will be publishing simple before and after graphs in our traders section next week.

We work with Henk @ fastchip for all our mapping needs and use a master version of the same RStuner gear that is sold to the public, very very happy with the results and the feedback we get from customers
