Does any1 have a Nintendo DS

I really like these of ate and decided to get one, but ahve a question?
does the screen illuminate when its in the sun like the gameboys did, for example beter the sun light better the picture.

or is it like the PSP where you cant see it in sun light?

It's like the PSP but the screen isn't quite so bright.. but it is backlit on the DS.

I'd wait the for the DS Lite to come out which has the option of changing the brightness of the screen. As well as being slimmer etc.

I've got a DS. I play WiFi Mario Kart at work every lunch time.

The screen is pretty good, though not as good as a PSP obviously, but unlike the PSP it has decent games. lol

Thats true , but light can have an effect on the screen still useable tho

so its more like the psp screen then and not like the GBA
