hi, iam a new member, just bought a 172 cup,, i was just wondering if anybody on here new of this car, its come from scotland (glasgow) somewhere,,, iam trying to track the service history down for it, if there is any. its done 18k miles... only thing i have found out is its had a saftey check at 9k miles in paisley ,, wherever that is.

172 Cup's didn't have safety checks. The first time it should have been back to the dealers was for the first service at 12,000 miles or 2 years.

i dont know,,, ive rang loads of dealers in glasgow (most of them arnold clark) and i cant find anything out,,, just thought the person who used to own it might have come on here

Should be on a Renault database if it's been done properly.

ive rang renault-uk they cant help,, and if i cant prove its been serviced at 12k, they say its no warranty....

i recognise the reg but i think its just from seeing it about.

i got the car from a finance company, they repossed it,,, so ive just got the guys name and address on the log book! i will write to him i think,,,

If he doesn't keep up payments in his car I doubt you'll get a reply to a letter.

If it doesn't appear on the Renault database chances are it never was serviced.

they never checked there database! how can i get them to check there database? they told me they would sent me out a dealer list and then try and track it down from there
