Does anyone know why inside both my rear wheels arches there are metal tabs with holes through them ?

I noticed them today when i was washing car, what are they for ?

I'm afraid no one has been at my arch liners mate.

Not since i bought car this time last year anyway :S

Are they missing like ?

As all i have is black wheel arch things attached to the rear bumper/wheel arch (where rear mud flaps would go) and thats it.


Is there any chance someone could post pics of inside there rear arches so i can check if mine are the same that'd be appreciated

its part of the plate on the rear beam that screws to the car, if you remove the rear beam from the car that part comes with it. Im guessing they used it in other models and saved money by not changing the design, typical french.
