Dolby Digital 5.1 - Sky+ & 360

All this time i have been using Dolby Pro Logic for Sky and the phono's for the 360. Wired up the optical cable I got last night and what a difference ! The sound is so much better in DD 5.1 than pro logic and as for GoW on the 360 .... f*kin awesome ! :evil: ..... need to dig condemned out me thinks

Only problem is that i only have 1 optical input in the back on the TV and dont really want to be swapping back and forth.

Oh yeah Rainbow 6 turned up last nite aswell, not fired it up yet thou.

i have that problem too. Just get an optical splitter.

anyone know what the cheapest decent system is with an optical in as i wouldn't mind investing in one of these now, needs to have small speakers though and not cost bose money.

yes its only for the 360 as i do gaming and HD-DVD movies from the box so won't need it for anything else. Budget is less than £100 really as its just for a small room before i buy a house and will get a kickass system.

WIll have a look at the 550 clart, is that just a sound system or a dvd aswell?

i presume it has an optical in.
