Can anybody please tell me how to remove them for painting or is it easier to do insitue?

Can anybody please tell me how to remove them for painting or is it easier to do insitue?

They just clip off, try prizing a credit card under it carefully. Remember to be mega careful though as I nearly snapped my "Renaultsport" badges off my 197 on my first attempt.

I forgot to say is it the same for all clios? Mines a ph2 172...

Not sure if it's the same, but the RS200 has a grommet covering a screw at the latch end of the door, take this out, remove the indicator (not on the ph1/2) and thay slide out. The badge then unclips.
Shame the guy who nicked mine didn't do that-he snapped every lug of it!
