Double Din in a Clio? Can it be done?

Had a quick look using the search function but cant seem to find anything. Has anyone fitted a double din, i know it doesnt fit straight away but wasnt sure if someone had found a way of being able to install one. Thanks

Removing the air vents above the headunit.

Then it would fit.

No it wouldnt...there is a big f**k off metal plate/bar and is impossible to remove.

Plus the vents are not directly above the headunit

The switch panel that holds the hazard/lock/demist buttons could be removed.

Then you would have to hack away all the plastic. Reseat the hazard switches somewhere. Not worth the hassle

Probably be better with a single din with motorised screen.

I wouldn't bother, plenty of great single din units about and if you really must have a bloody TV screen in the car as above get one with a flip out motorised screen.
