Downgrading iphone from 2.0 to 1.1.4

I have the original iphone and it was unlocked/jailbroken to orange. I accidently downloaded and updated it to 2.0 firmware earlier and really need to access my phone. How can I downgrade it back to 1.1.4 firmware so i can unlock/jailbreak it again?

I'm using Itunes 8 as well, will this cause any issues?

i thought you would download the 1.1.4 software. Open up itunes and connect phone, press shift and then restore, select the 1.1.4 software, install this. And then jailbreak and unlock again?

yeah unlock works for all versions i believe (for 2g phones)

like I said, ive done it on my 2g 1.14 - 2.1 no problems. unlocked, activated, jailbroken. the lot.
