We're in the middle of doing it, all of the hub is removed, we have undone the bolts out of centre bracket but still cant remove it !

Should it just pull out? or is there something else retaining it?

Thanks in advance, Finch.

Edited.

with the driveshaft nut undone and the hub is away from the lower wishbone, the drivers side will just pull off as its just pushed on to the gearbox.

sorry, im outside trying to remove the driveshaft as we speak !

the bolts are removed from the centre support but the driveshaft doesnt want to pull out ?

is there any guides on here or can someone advise ?

yes they are all removed, as well as the centre bearing brackets bolts, should it just pull out now ? it doesnt seem to want to move !

oh just read it again, the 2 13mm bolts on the centre bracket are off and the retaining plate if off correct?

Haha! Does it reli not?

Think they are £120 from Renault
Not sure if that's + or including VAT though

Finch - what's wrong with the shaft anyway, out of curiosity?

I replaced the inner gaitor on mine fine, I got the boot from sideways danny and fitted it to my 172 shaft. Its nowhere near the engine block if you use the same type of clips as that came off!

no 1 even told him to get a small pin/punch to finally get his shaft out when everything was (UN)boltd
