Drivers speaker cuts out when door is wide open! Could a route another wire to it?

I was wondering how hard it is to lead a new wire to speaker from headunit. I'm alright at getting headunit out and splicing a new wire and I've had door card off just need to find out how to get it from inside to the door.

I have searched a bit but not really found a good answer with pics. It's gonna be normal wire, nothing thick, so that shouldn't be a prob.

just standard wire? should be quite easy.. follow the old cable back.. splice it and cut off the dead end.
