Dropped My iPhone in the toilet...

I dropped my old iPhone 2G in a toilet the morning after a long night and it seemed to work as it came out (apart from telling me I was trying to dock it with an uncompatable device) and now after drying out it just shows a White screen, is it dead? Anything I can do to save it? I've ordered a case opener so I can try and have a look inside.

I just tried plugging it into pc and it appears and syncs fine but the screen is still just all White.

No insurance, it's my old 2g I'm on 3gs now. I've had it plugged into pc for a bit now and now the screen is working again but showing the picture backwards lol

Lol, luckily it was just after I flushed, gave it a quick clean anyway...
