Drove a 197!

and to be quite honest. its shite.

The acceleration was crap. my mate who came with me asked if it was full throttle, ok, its more steady at high speeds, but it took an age to catch a zetec s!

The handling was easily the best part of it, i couldnt believe how well it stuck to the road, and the brakes are also impressive.

Ride is ok, no body roll at all, so i was impressed at that, but its not as raw as the 172 etc.

I think everyone who has driven one has said the same thing about how crap the accelaration is. I think it's a real shame that Renault didn't try and keep some of the 172 182's rawness.

i reckon you can quite easily get 70-80kg off that car

a bit of magic dust on the engine and exhaust will sort a few things out
