DSLR at £299

  172cup
very good price, but seems 'basic' spec compared to some entry level cameras that offer more for a better price anyway. Positives.... a very good sensor, high resolution to boot.

EDIT: this is a BIG camera. Dimensions and weight are quite bulky.

It's actually three 4.6mp sensors each capturing different colour, the colours it captures are amazing and the reviews I've read have been pretty good.

Lacking in some areas (bit slow for motorsport, buffer fills quickly and write times aren't great) but an absolute steal at £299 to be honest. The Sigma range of lenses is fantastic (and much cheaper than Nikon/Canon) and would serve anybody well.

It's certainly a very cheap way of getting a very high quality camera, especially as you can add the kit lens free.

A friend has bought that camera and the images are pretty damn good. I am no camera expert they looked good but it seemed a little clunky menus wise
