DSLR for around £400

I currently have a Canon 500D, and having just been to Stockholm for the weekend with the missus, she is adament she wants one for xmas!

Looking at one for around £400 (willing to pay a bit more if its a better camera obv).

Would preferably like similar spec to the 500D, and MUST have a good screen for viewing photos on (my sisters fiance has a Nikon, the competitor to the 500D but cant remember the model, and the screen is poor compared to the Canon)

Looks like another 500D or if your looking second hand, you could get a 40D or 50D perhaps. I'd say sticking with Canon is a no brainer.

See my other post, just got a 1000d for £245 with kit lens. Off canon outlet on ebay. they say refurbs, but they arnt they are just ones that have had the box opened so they cant sell full price
