Dta ecu, live display?

People pay alot of money for screens in thier cars linked to the ecu that show exact goings on, pressure/temp/afr e.t.c, how comes no one has a screen (7' or something similar) linked directly to the ecu? When you plug in the ecu to your laptop you can see everything going on, so how comes you never see anyone with a small screen installed showing everything, and instead spend hundreds on those little digital ones and gauges all over the car?

You cant link a screen directly to ecu without going through the OBD port so that means a computer or handheld device.

My mk1 clio doesnt have an obd, and is using Just the DTA

You would need an in-car PC running DTASwin to do what you're talking about.

scan gauges are great bits of kit do the fit the clio? i had one for my focus rs saved me a few times.
