Dull Question but need to know, Std 172 wheel specs?

As above what I the std 172 wheel specs?
PCD: 4x100
Size: 16"
Offset: ?
Width: ?

When I get aftermarket wheel I need to know what the std is so I can change it so I can run the widest spacers possible without fouling issues....

Tried search on here and didn't come up with anything.
Tried google and came up with a thread on here but not 100% if there correct or not (what the person who wrote them said)
and other google ones came up saying 172 35 to et38 but source on here says 172 are et48????

Hence why im asking, Im not lazy I do look before asking but finding it very hard to find correct answers for clios on everything tbh....

The 172 cup turinies are et38.5 dout the standard 172 wheels will be lower than et40, take a wheel off and it should say somewhere on it? Might be behind the centre cap?
