Hey guys I want to collect some data for compare:

How long needs your car for accelerating from 50 to 87mph in 4th gear on plain road?

My clio with 205/40R16 starting at 2800rpm needs 12sec,

my R5 with 165/70R13 starting at 2600rpm 13sec

i dunno. 50mph in 4th, my car is starting to pick up ok then..

peak torque is availible from 3750 in the 1.4s iirc

sorry, I know it´s funny with 87mph, but I´m from Germany and there usually make it from 80-140km/h.

15 in the Diesel

50-80 was quick (13), but last bit just goes beyond peak power and slows 80+

yeh, thatd be better - already pastpeak torque @ 50 in 4th, but just under in 5th!

really really straining past 80 in 4th!!
