Yeah but next gen should be close.
Either way,
Lol at fake dk.
Sony nailed it IMO. Outplayed Microsoft on all points.
Yes,
Price and spec. The games WILL get better in time, developers will have more scope on the PS4 H/W than the Xbox, it's obvious.
But Xbox has for me, better interface, community and initial games line up. Certainly not clear cut which one I'm getting yet.
Also you need to factor in how many 360' might break I've had 4 360's since launch,
add on Xbox live for 6 years I'm looking at 2K.
High end gaming PC is looking tempting.
I think everyone is over-looking the obvious, people are creature of habits. If they had an Xbox before, they will have an Xbox again. Because their friends do, or their work colleagues do etc. This will continue.
I think the only people who may be swayed by flashy E3 presentations will be the minority, not the majority.

That's on the list, but to be honest at the moment I think I'd buy the PS4 if it were double the price of the Xbone.Based on what? Price?
Most of my friends owned a PS2 before the 360, not an original Xbox, and jumped ship because the 360 was so much better than the PS3 initially. I think people will gravitate towards whatever their friends will buy. It's all down to the early adopters. Who are mainly people who watch E3 presentations...I think everyone is over-looking the obvious, people are creature of habits. If they had an Xbox before, they will have an Xbox again.
No DRM, so you can lend, sell, give away your games whenever you like to whomever you like. This shouldn't be a feature, but Microsoft have made it one.
Any decent pics of the PS4? I'll buy the Xbox anyway as it'll be a far superior gaming console imo.
The price is a tad steep but getting rid of the 360 goes someway to leveling things out for me. I'm guessing backwards compatibility was announced? Not that it matters.
I don't either personally, but I believe consumers should have as much choice as possible. I just don't agree with it in principle. This one is a bit of a non starter for me. It's rare I trade my 360 games in, and I'd say 90% of my gaming nowadays is on a PC filled with digital downloads that I can't trade in/sell. I don't blame MS for implementing it, it's what the publishers want. GAME and their ilk have gotten away with selling nearly new preowned games at 5 quid under RRP for too long.
The comparison of PC gaming is a bit disingenuous though - you make a trade-off of not being able to resell it by the fact it's so cheap to start with (especially in the Steam sales). A lot of people buy £40 disc-based games on the premise they can trade them back in again for £25 and buy another £40 game for £15. I think this is bad for gaming in general, and bad for gamers. At least now Sony have ruled it out, those who aren't happy with this practice can vote with their wallets..
