Still purple when frozen....Lol! Good friend haha
Go on, post a pic of the front
Holy s**t that colour match!
I don't know now. I knew about the paint. The seller said the wheels were fine, which they are, they just aren't prefect. The other little bits are just me being picky.Did you get it cheap?
300 miles to half a tank. So far so good.
Job list is pretty long:
Front Spray
Wheel refurb
4x Michelins
New speakers
Leather treatment
New 'deco' decals for the front
New centre caps
New side repeaters
New lower grill
Maybe new headlights.....
To make any money on a car is a result, let's be honest!I don't know now. I knew about the paint. The seller said the wheels were fine, which they are, they just aren't prefect. The other little bits are just me being picky.
It needs £1500 spending on it. Then it should be worth probs £2000 more than I paid for it. So no great money to be made, weirdly though and this is a total surprise, I love the thing already. Its a genuinely good drive and nice place to be. Part of me wants to make it near mint and then keep it.
Pre 2010 they are a 320 motor with a 330d turbo and intercooler with 198bhp. After 2010 they have the 123d engine with 211bhp. The Bi turbo's are more desirable and command around a £3k premium. Are all the d3's biturbo? I really fancied one when I bought the Slowda, but wasn't sure on diesel and couldn't find an estate.
Like I said, its a brilliant job of painting it the wrong colour lol.At least they blended the purple into the wing lol
New Deco's were either Gold or Silver. This obv's can't have silver.....LOL!!!
Another corner shop car! How does brimful of Asha sound on the stereo?
Its not............ terrible?I love the gold. Do it.
Couldn't agree more, Chris. Those above look horrendous.... :anguished:Looks really smart, much prefer your alloys to the really s**t alpina ones that seem to be on most D3's

Alpina just sent me its spec list when it was new. It turns out it was spec'd with GOLD deco striping. GOLD. Christ.
I wanted to put it back to how it came from the factory. Gold is a bit of a push.
The original E46 ones were just the 320d with a remap. My cousin always joked that they copied him with the d3 thing as he badged his original 2004 330d "d3" for the Gumball3000 for the few years he did it. That thing was a monster for the time.Pre 2010 they are a 320 motor with a 330d turbo and intercooler with 198bhp. After 2010 they have the 123d engine with 211bhp.
