eBay fees when selling a car

I have only ever once advertised a car on eBay, it didn't sell on there but on Pistonheads instead. The Fees charged to me where about £20 i think.

Just in the middle of advertising the Wifes car on eBay now and its coming up at over £120 should the car sell, is this about right for a car selling for around £5000????

have i missed something or is there any loopholes so to speak that reduces the listing/final fees???

Make sure you have it in the vehicle catergory, should be a fixed fee for cars no matter what it fetches, i think it was £8.50 last time i sold a car, may have changed though as that was a couple of months back

Sorted, thats Cotball - somehow i totally bypassed the 'Cars' catagory

Dont forget they will also take a percentage of the selling cost too

There's no final selling fee in the 'classified cars' category, but there is if you just put it in as an auction.

If it's 8.50 then it won't be a classified will it?
