eBay grief

I bought some expensive eye cream off eBay for £60 with p and p from America. (yes I'm a lad but a lad with big bags under my eyes lol)

Paid via Paypal, guy left me feedback.

Now suddenly I receive an email from eBay basically advising me not to buy this item as it violates there terms. I mean ffs, tell me more info. What terms?!

Now the guy still seems registered but has no itmes for sale at all within his shop. He's got 126+ with a few negs.

I've emailed him asking what's going on.

Please tell me I haven't lost £60. Who should I contact and how? Paypal or ebay?

I really want this cream and don't want to in effect pay double for it if I have to buy it elsewhere.

Ive had this before, bought some printer ink.

Basically ebay advise you not to complete the sale, I still got the ink, it worked fine so no problem there.

Give it a few days, see if you hear from him. If not, go through PayPal, they give money back to the buyer everytime.

I hope so, I've heard that they only give money back if the auction is in there protected scheme or something. Just wondering why they removed it.

The seller is totalbodyimage item number 9505694877 but that won't show anything now.
