What effect does disconnecting the battery for a bit have on the ECU?

It can forget driving sytle but it doens't make a huge difference.

Sort of does yes.

Does the ECU 'learn' your driving style then? What if I was driving like a granny when it was listening??!!

LOL.. yeah, it does.

The worst that could happen is that the parameters that it's learned, will be reset.
