ECU Reset / Battery Off Question

Car  Skoda Fabia vRS
whenever i take the battery off my car to work on it, once i put it back on and go for a drive the car always feels faster, its a lot more responsive

after a days worth of driving though it goes back to normal, which, is fine, but id prefer it to be as responsive as it is when the battery has been off

why could this be ?

it is chipped would that have anything to do with it ?

1.8 16v

Nop!

It just refreshes all the data held in the ECU.

after it learns ur driving style it goes back to how it used to be really.

(not very technical but u get the point)

im sure somebody techy will anser no doubt.

well this happened when i changed my filter, but i put that down to the filter, but when i had a crack at doing the thermostat it did it then, the car was totally different

anyone on here even own a Mk1 Clio anymore ?

had some replies over on W/C, anyone on here experienced the same ?
