Eibach Sportlines to Cooksport - anyone done it yet?

I've done some searching but it doesn't appear that anyone has yet switched from Sportlines to Cooksport springs, is that right?

I'm after a direct comparison of drop (with pictures) & performance characteristics.

I did indeed, Rich, but I'd also like to read Chip's findings, which I'm searching for as I type... I assume they were changed on Lesley's RS2'd 172, but time will tell...

Ye they were swapped on the RS2 172 iirc. Think they were preferred than the sportlines too.

I was considering swapping mine but I'll stay put for now, they aren't that old

Wick has just put Cooksports on his Trophy (running Cup rear shocks while he sources Sachs or Koni replacements), but I guess he went from standard Trophy springs, whereas I'm currently on Sportlines and want to know how they compare to the Cooksport offering. Time will tell perhaps....

we are currently on sportline rear and standard fronts... whoops

over the winter we are thinking about upgrading to something a little more track focused

I *think* a set of rebuilt sachs front dampers and a set of cooksport springs is probably my idea of the perfect combination for a fastroad/trackday car, but I havent tried them on Sachs yet as I dont have a trophy. will have to buy Rich's Sachs off him when he goes coilovers later on :) My findings based on cup shocks are here: http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?684995-Cooksport-springs-Genuinely-impressed In the end though we have now got a mix and match set, as with all the interior and spare wheel etc in the boot the cooksport sat a little too low, so we have kept the cooksport front and eibach rears, which sits the car almost perfectly level (2mm higher at the back) If you have a stripped out rear though, cooksport all round would sit the same as with eibach rears and full rear weight still. EDIT - apologies for the big block of text for some reason the editor is parsing out my carriage returns when I save.

At the minute we are looking to keep the Sachs :) but realise the standard spring may be bit the ideal choice for track days lol

No rush mate, havent even bought the car I want them for yet, so by next year when you do want some KW or AST, it will be ideal timing :)

Cooksports have been fitted on my Trophy a week now.

Few quick snaps, it's raining and I'm parked - excuse the lack of imagination.

Height - Cooksports, Standard Sachs on the front, cup shocks on the rear....

Cheers all, just realised that has a spare wheel and tool box in the back, so approx 20kg's in the boot.

Tim, I'm hoping to get a set of Williams wheels/F1's/2118's as well... Initially for track but possibly run daily if they look alright.

No Bedford for me. Llandow with Burpspeed will be my first trackday in the T (and ever lol). Looking forward to giving the springs a workout.

Sorry for partial hijack///
