Embossed plates

As above, are they legal if you don't have the F for French/EU creast ,and correct spacing ?

I like the lettering and embossed look, i don't want anything else on the plates!

Could you not spray them with ........ i don't know some reflective spray?

I don't think the font is that far off, just a touch of class!

Was just going to say you can get reflective ones, I'm not 100% sure if they are legal. I had a set on my old car and a copper did have a good look at them, he even looked up the law in his book! He said he didn't think they were legal but let me go anyway.
