Enamel spraying inlet manifold

Thinking of spraying my inlet manifold in a blue enamel, are the super enamel/projekt sprays ok for this part of the engine?? I`m not sure what sort of temperatures the paint should be able to cope with, but on the back of the spray can it says 230c max temperature. Anyone recommend a spray they have used if not? I want to get a nice glossy enamel finish.

230c is plenty high enough for the inlet manifold matey Will be fine

Cheers! What would give the best finish, an enamel or a lacquer??

You will need a coat or two of Etch primer after you have painstakingly rubbed it all down.
