end of an era

hello all

Im sad to say that it is an end of an era for the clio which was much loved. Three weeks ago i was on my lunch at work windows down enjoying the breeze and then returned back to work. Suddenly my mate rushed in and said "Ciaran you car is on fire" which i replied "f**k off" joking around. So i walked out side to see smoke bellowing from my door. I opened it up and the whole door was a blaize. I then paniced and tried to put the fire out with my right hand and put my hand into melted plastic. *stupid i know* i got serious burns to my right hand in doing so.

In total there was 2.5k worth of damage so they have wrote the car off, i thought i would share some pictures of my car when it looked its best (which was most of the time) and show you some picture of my hand

The 1st and 2nd picture is a bit nasty so if you wish to skip through it i wouldnt blame you

The hand is healing up nice, The outcome was an electrical fault to do with the electric window switch apprently. lol vein

local anaesthetic to numb the pain then you can do a "phantom hand" without having to sit on it for half an hour first. ehem
